Exchange Online Plan 1 and Plan 2 are online secure business-class email services that include archiving.

Exchange Online Plan 1 is the least expensive of the two plans. Each user is provided with the standard 50 GB of total storage with an additional 50 GB of archive storage. The service plan includes features such as inbox management, sharing of calendars and contacts, a nifty feature that automatically moves older messages from the inbox to the archive store automatically to clear up clutter.

Exchange Online Plan 2 is a bit more robust in comparison to Plan 1. Additional features like Data Loss Prevention (DLP), voicemail, an increased mailbox quota of 100 GB, and unlimited storage for Archive sets this plan apart from the others. Additionally, plan 2 also comes with an In-place Hold feature,  that aids in protecting deleted or edited mailbox items, hosted voice mail which allow the user to answer calls with added features like dial-in user interface and automated attendants.
